A young man, Moustafa invented more effective ways to build and establish schools in poor areas, changing both how they were built and how education was organized.
At 23, and within 2 yrs he had raised $3.5M funding and completed building & scaling 183 new schools for girls across country, enabling collaboration between the US and Egypt & creating social impact recognized by the UN, US & The Egyptian First Ladies.
Later he joined Shell Oil and spent 12 yrs traveling the world into various lead roles and promoted into advising Shell’s central directorate on key tactics & policies covering a total of 14,000 employees in 50+ countries.
Apart from earlier conducted master studies in architecture, value engineering & green design, Moustafa concluded a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, the top ranking business school in the world with a focus on leadership, entrepreneurship and corporate venture capital.
He further intensified his research with MIT in Design-Thinking, Wharton in Art & Science of Startups, and strategically partners with Swedish Design firm innovation360 amongst the first global business innovation practitioners on CEN & upcoming ISO standards.
Operating at the centerstage of entrepreneurship, Moustafa is becoming one of the most sophisticated business futurist & design names located in Africa & The Middle East.
Currently, Moustafa is leading Insead’s Egypt Alumni Association and directing MENA’s leading startup VC/Accelerator, Flat6Labs Cairo, collaborating with various public & private, local to international institutions to endorse innovation and activate sector-agnostic tech economy potential in Africa & Arabia.
Moustafa has formally supported the creation of 18 startups and informally many more. He has recently been named Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA) for his social engagements to support business & growth as a force for good.
